Prosperity
I expect my good and claim it now.
Expectancy is confidently knowing that something good is unfolding and anticipating its arrival. I have heard the promise: "It is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." God is my Source. There is no lack in the kingdom and nothing is beyond the goodness of God.
I claim prosperity in all aspects of my life. I see its evidence in a breathtaking sunset, an unexpected bonus and the gentle forgiveness that renews a lost friendship. The more I look, the more I see good unfolding. While others may speak of gloom and lack in the world, I expect the abundance of Spirit. With faith, I expect my good and claim it now.
Is not my house like this with God? …Will he not cause to prosper all my help and my desire?--2 Samuel 23:5

Two Golden RetrieversImage via WikipediaI am so thrilled once again to hear from my Editor. She has worked on my children’s story NOW, for the INFAMOUS “QUERY" LETTER”

Yikes, no, not really; as you read below she is an kindred spirit. So blessed she came into my life- Like I have stated the lord works in mysterious ways and this is differently one of them.

Cindy
I will watch for it to come "over the wire" from 2nd Draft. :-)
I am so sorry to hear about your husband--I lost mine several years ago to cancer so I totally understand where you are coming from.

I too find inspiration by helping others in the same situation he was in. I have a little papillon who is a wonderful therapy dog. We make weekly visits to the local cancer treatment facility and just spend time with those going through chemo.

He is especially good interacting with children and we also participate in a program especially for kids with cancer.

I think you have an admirable dream to share with young readers.
I look forward to working with you again.

Re-Cap

The comedy show Friends becomes popular.Image via Wikipedia
Hi Again,

So glad to have my blog, and to follow other blogs. I have learned so much from blogging and sharing insights. All the wonderful words on a page. So many  places, they all can’t fit on my blog page. So..I have placed them on my Dashboard. What an inspiration and clever ideas, and books, and so on.

I have posted in the past about how one’s life changes, Ideas-People-Taste- and what we believe. Or should I say, what I have come to believe. For instance, Neighbors, what makes a Neighbor... funny word isn't it? I think so. Like when we come home from work and meet them in the driveway, or let’s say lord forbid... I NEED A CUP OF SUGAR- OR EGG- CUP OF MILK.etc. Remember back in the day we used to do such things.  They we're our mini mart, and we were theirs.  Now, we just jump in our cars and off we go. I do miss the times. ( being neighborly).

We didn't even think a thing about it, (now did we). Let’s think about this for a minute. Okay, life has changed, hmmm. Yes it has. We are all in such a hurry, go here go there. Man, this made me think about our today again. A pick up game in the street, Not to mention- Dodge ball- and drum roll please…… my favorite thing of all times, DING DONG DITCH. So much fun, Okay back to my sweet neighbor.

Neighbors of today a nod and a wave. ( am I right?). Well last week MY neighbor so to speak, caught me out in the street as I was leaving in my car,  flagged me down with a hand wave, I wanted to thank him any way for trimming my hedges, I’ve told him he could use our lawnmower any time he need. He stuck his arm and head in, and said, “I haven't seen you in a while”. He knows about my beloved husband and how busy we all have become. He  spoke with my husband often. I had no idea he had become so close to him. Our beloved was so worried about his family that he had confided in him and another close friend. I was so Glad that he could open up with them. Just to release some anxieties, so to speak. So that today I can hear as his voice continues, in someone else. Funny how things are. So beautiful.

As he was speaking I noticed his shirt, (IT had a LLS logo on it) Leukemia, Lymphoma Society on the sleeve. I pointed to his shirt and said Hello, I didn’t know?. And who do you know that has been touched my this. I must have had a weird look on my face. Because he touched my hand and said “Brad was my neighbor” with this a huge sigh. I almost started to cry. It touched my heart so very much. Wow, and this is our neighbor of today.

Well it didn’t stop there, he continued to talk to me about LIGHT THE NIGHT. This is LLS big fund raiser of the year, they have many. Which I’m told they are one of the biggest cancer research  fund raiser’s. However, he asked me if we went last month. I said “of course wouldn’t have missed it”. He stated he went and there are many other fund raisers he has joined in the fight with cancer since his neighbor

He had mentioned that he has done Regalia, for young women in the area, not to mention, Next year there is going to be regalia on our lake. I was so excited. I mention to him, how, when, and the time is this all going to take place. He proceeds with all the details, so, “I asked him if it would be alright to launch my children’s Book there and have a huge fund raiser for LLS. This cuts things close; I hope I can me such a deadline.

Now our friend and family are joining in the fight together- his and ours against Cancer- PLEASE lend your time and hand to a friend and neighbor. It has a ripple effect- I am so glad him and his family haved moved next door- Shhh ( I think we are going to become good and maybe possibly GREAT Friends). Isn't this just the way the times can still be- Oh and by the way Do you have a Cup of Sugar

Picture books
A lot of Changes in my life recently, thank everyone for following and sending emails.

Finding balance and a new life...

Well... I had my second editing done. On my children's book, Nail biting and nerve racking waiting for the response. The wait is over, she (Terri), sent it via email."I' think my book is great. However, wonderful words of advice. Quoting Terri,

"You have wonderful concepts here, a first book to introduce young children to the benevolence of God. Smiling

A most unique idea that would make a wonderful picture book". Okay that's the good part, here is the edit. What?," you didn't think that I was going to keep this from you"?. ( just keeping it real ).

Always nice to get unbiased opinion, don't you think. As Terri edited, it was a little vague,  did i here this somewhere else? hum I think so- better hede the warning. I NEED TO GO BIG OR GO HOME...

CHILDREN WANT ADVENTURE, EXCITMENT, loud-words  So,  I have some writing to do.

This has been such an wonderful adventure. I kept thinking  the illustrations can  due a lot of the story, not to mention having a great concept ( Terri ), It needs WORDS, and more WORDS. Great, I can deliver.

Inner Peace

The divine essenceImage by Guðskraftur via Flickr
Today as I opened my email, i( ALWAYS LOOK FOR ), THE DAILY wORD.
It is always such a welcoming delight. To brighten up ones day. Thank you and god bless. I often write my own words on my blog, But I always who ever time and space for the daily word here.
My blog is dedicated to god, myself and all that I can do to give back. trying to find my way right now.
sometimes we don't have to make a big impact, right now, today.
I have my blog to write and have a nice landing for whomever wants to read and relax , listen to the music- or just look at my blog. god bless and have a wonderful day
Inner Peace
In the silence, my heart and mind are centered in God.
The silence is a period of meditation during which my thoughts are withdrawn from the external world and concentrated upon the inner truths of God. The indwelling presence of God is the very essence of the silence. As I meditate, I sense God's presence as stillness. My mind is quiet.
If I have been experiencing unsettledness in my life, I devote time today to silent prayer. In the silence, I invite compassion, wisdom and grace into my heart and mind. I step fully into the kingdom of God within me. Centered in the power of God, I gather strength and clarity.
By choosing to go within rather than react, I experience the peace of God. From this space of peace, I respond to life with love.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness.--Galatians 5:22

First Steps

First Steps

Ready to take on this day, I claim the abundant life I was created to live!

Children taking their first steps teach us an important lesson: With confidence, drive and a strong desire to walk, these little ones push past their comfort zone and move forward.
I know that as a child of God, I can tap into my own adventurous nature and determination to do whatever is before me this day. I might be taking my first steps in physical or emotional recovery. I might be beginning a new relationship or renewing a previous one. I can do anything I set my heart on.
As I search my soul, I know that God provides me with whatever is needed to step forward. I confidently take on any challenge or adventure that leads me to claim the abundant life I was created to live. So very grateful to ones family and friends... They have inspired me in so many ways. Being still and listening to Gods voice. Peace-Calm and stay in Harmony.

God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance.--2 Corinthians 9:8

GUIDANCE

The wisdom of God lives within me.
As a child, I saw life from a perspective of innocence and naiveté. With age, education and experience, I gained wisdom. Some of the things I know now I couldn't possibly have understood as a child. Some of my wisdom, however, has been gained not by experience, but by tapping into a greater source of wisdom within me, the wisdom of God.
Just as plants know how and when to push through the soil toward the sun, just as birds know to migrate hundreds of miles to their nesting grounds, I, too, have an inner wisdom. Closing my eyes to the distractions of the outer world, I find direction when I feel lost, inspiration when I am ready to hear, and a closeness to God as I open my heart. The wisdom of God lives within me.
For the Lord gives wisdom.--Proverbs 2:6

Forgive

As I forgive, I recognize God's goodness expressing in and around me.

Life lessons bring me closer to knowing the peace of Christ within my heart. When I experience a hurtful exchange with another person, I allow forgiveness to release me from the pain. Forgiving does not condone unacceptable behavior; it gives me permission to break free from the hold people or situations may have on me.

With compassion, I forgive myself for doing something I regret or for neglecting to do something I wish I had done. Through self-forgiveness, my capacity to forgive others increases. Judgment is released.

As I forgive, I gratefully accept the peace of Christ within and see the goodness of God expressing.

Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.--Luke 6:37

Trim a Query Letter

How to Trim Your Query to 250 Words (or Fewer): Advice from Agent Janet Reid

Section One:

1. Back story.
2. World building.
3. Character roll call.
4. Telling.
5. A synopsis.

Section Two:
1. Academia – classes, teachers, degrees, dissertations.
2. Conferences you’ve attended.
3. Self-published novels, or traditionally published novels with poor sales.
4. Personal information.

Section Three:
1. Begging, flattery.
2. Arrogance or self-deprecation.
3. Offer of an exclusive.
4. Your marketing plan.
5. Quotes from rejection letters, paid editors, critique groups, your mom.

TWO THINGS TO KEEP

Section One:

1. Title, genre, word count.
2. The essentials of your novel. (Every time you think you know, ask yourself “So what? And then?” until you’re left with your main character, conflict, and consequences.)

Section Two:
1. Published short stories or novels.
2. Published magazine or newspaper articles.

Section Three:
1. Why you chose this agent.
2. A connection you have from a conference/workshop.
Start from the bare bones and build from there. Infuse each section with your book’s personality. Consider every word. Don’t forget your contact information.

And close with

“Thank you for your time and consideration.” Now get trimming!

Query Letter

Well, this will be my hundredth  Query letter...
Dear, Agent/Publisher. This is serious business. I really didn't realize the art to this. To capture an Agent/ Publishers attention at a glance.

Can you imagine, hundreds upon thousands of letters they get in a single day? To read.

  Dear Jane,
Blah, Blah, Blah... and guess what?,  my mine was one of them. Shriek, ( I thought ), gosh does mine read like THAT!. Well, it most certainly did. So!, back again I write.

   Dear Jane...
Well this time, I hope, that I have done my home work and research on HOW TO WRITE A QUERY LETTER, wow, now that is saying something.  Yes it's an Art form, you bet you're bottom dollar it is just that, an Art. I've received so much information from The Query Shark. On how to write a  Query letter.

I do hope it gets past the desk, and they like what am writing about. See, I have big hopes, just like millions of  Authors do, Getting Published. There is so many pros and cons on Publishing.

I've learned Not, and I mean not to take it Personal. About being declined. I have to keep at this. Glad I have my blog so that other writers can comment. So please fill free to post- say yeah or nay

. A great friend of mine is getting his book published, he went with self publishing, went great lengths with re-writes. He liked the whole Idea of that ( self publishing ), Once again, Pros and Cons.

I would love to see my book get published, I believe it will.

Mother's Blessing

I bless my mother and all mothers around the world.

We are all born out of the energy of Divine Love. Like a million tiny seeds blown across the earth, each of us takes root to grow into a unique expression of the one Love that created us.

Whether the seed of my being landed on a soft fertile place or a rocky path, I was created out of Love and I am an expression of Love. I give thanks for the womb that gave me life and the love that supported my growth. My eyes are opened to see anew all the love I have received. Strong and gentle, liberating and supportive, love has nurtured my growth. Whether the mother who gave me these gifts of love is with me now or not, I send a blessing of loving gratitude to her today.

Your mother was like a vine in a vineyard ..., fruitful and full of branches. --Ezekiel 19:10

Comfort

MP900262775

As I’m setting still, I listen to the Universal Love of God

I am in the presence of pure being. I am not alone.

I am not alone. I hold this thought in mind and feel comforted. The evidence of love begins to show. A ray of sunshine strikes a crystal and the rainbow of colors dances on my wall. A tiny bird comes near to sing its song just for me. In books and music, through the gentle touch and kindness of others, God speaks to me of love. What reassurance comes when I take time to listen for and experience that still small voice of God.

In the quiet place within my heart, I feel God's loving presence. No burden is mine to carry alone. With each breath I draw upon the infinite strength and peace of the Divine. I gently release any sorrow or worry weighing me down. Enfolded in the embrace of sweet Spirit I know that I am not alone.

Yet I am not alone because the Father is with me.--John 16:32

New Phase in my Life

As Easter is upon us and Passover is here, This is a new phase of my life.

Moving forward in ones life is one of strength and courage, we find this when we go through really tuff times. We take a long hard look around to see what "WE" are made of. When I said "WE" I mean a village of people that are here standing with you, through the rain and sunshine- One's true family and friends.

That's how you move forward in life. I really didn't know what all that really meant when one said "move forward". I am learning- on who is truly around, to help and guild, with loving support- That's what true love is. We have met some great people on this Journey with my husband.

What is truly important in ones life- My Husband, father, and friend was a very successful man. What I mean in success, is, that's not about things it's about being brave thru all that he Endure , and saying. " If God wants me here then I am meant to be here".

I pull on his strenght when I am sad, and ask the Lord "WHY" we need him here with us-
I have, Friends often say how amazed at his Bravery thru this- They loved his spirit- How the Lord was his strength-

Remember friends will come and go in your life- The Golden ones will stay everyday and see you thru. I have choose to keep his spirit alive within our lives. I miss him dearly. Our friends have gathered around us, and talk about his true nature- the spirit that grew these last 7 years.

His kindness, craftsmanship, love and forgiveness that he often expressed. We've had many quite moments in our life- we would speak of Life and keeping it simple, so that the Lord's spirit can come in- and let love in-

We still from this day are getting cards sent in the most sincere  way, the precious words that were spoken about our loved one, fills our hearts with over joy- we just can't express what he truly meant to his friends. He always inspired his friends in the hospital, and to this day remains this families friends, and always will and not to forget all that have stayed.

God bless all that has stayed by our families side and guilded us on a daily bases. God will hold you dear. To us this is the meaning of Success, True friendship, True Love, and a wonderful spirit that will go on in each and everyone of us- Jesus said to love one another, come to me as a child

So we bless this day and always with -Peace- Love-Kindness

Guidance LightImage by Akira ASKR via Flickr
When asked for guidance and peace- Be Still to the spirit of God. A steady calm beholds ones stillness. A calm peace

Guidance

In the quiet, I am aware of divine possibilities.

Whether I call it intuition or insight, inner knowing emanates from the spirit of God within me. I know the right action to take and when to take no action at all as I remain open to Spirit for guidance and illumination.
Clearing my mind of any uncertainty about what I can do, I open myself to what God's Presence can do through me. In quiet times of prayer, I receive divinely inspired direction. Free of any doubt or fear, I let divine possibilities flow into my conscious awareness.
Through prayer and meditation, I become attentive to the still small voice of intuition, the "inner teaching" of Spirit. I know when to speak and act and when to be still.

After he had dismissed the crowds, he went up the mountain by himself to pray.--Matthew 14:23

Grace

Grace

There is no place that is beyond God's love.

As part of God's creation, I am blessed with the gift of grace. Grace is bestowed upon me unconditionally, without my needing to earn it or prove I deserve it. Like the father rushing to meet his returning prodigal son, God meets me when I seek the kingdom. Moreover, grace is active in me even when I am not consciously seeking, for there is no place in mind or heart that is beyond God's love.
Grace is visible in my life when the consequences of a mistake are gentler than they might have been. Grace is tangible when I feel blessed beyond all imagining. Love wells up within my heart until I feel the full impact of God's presence.
Thank you, God, for your gift of grace. I know I am always in your loving care.

Grace be with all of you.--Hebrews 13:25

Peace TimeImage via Wikipedia
Harmony

Every stranger is my brother or sister.

Creating a world of harmony happens one person at a time--and it starts with me. In conscious alignment with Spirit,

I focus on creating peace and harmony within myself. Harmony then extends to my peaceful and loving relationships with my family and community, then spreads to my brothers and sisters around the world.

The spirit of God is within every person. If ever I feel disconnected from another, I take steps to re-establish harmony. I reach out to others with love and respect.

I remember that we are all connected; there are no strangers; separation does not exist.
When we see each other as members of one big family, the world is united in perfect harmony.

You shall also love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.--Deuteronomy 10:19
Enhanced by Zemanta

Faith

I am strong, positive and powerful.

Every person has a purpose. I may discover mine when I am troubled by a situation and feel called to be part of the solution. The path may not be perfectly clear; I may not know what action to take. Nevertheless, I begin right where I am. I trust my inner wisdom to show me the way.

Rather than worry about making a mistake, I pray and take one small step. I trust that God will place a lamp before my feet, guiding me as I go.

As I give of myself in sacred service, everything I need is provided. I joyfully do what is mine to do. My faith grows even deeper as I give from my abundance. As I step out in faith, I am strong, positive and powerful.

You see that faith was active along with his works.--James 2:22
