Roasted Pepper Sauce

Penne pasta served with tomato sauceImage via WikipediaOne of my favorite sauces was a RED PEPPER Sauce.

My Dad, just loved this, specially cause it was a great substitute for spaghetti sauce... Enjoy this

  • 1/2 cup roasted red  bell Peppers (bottled, canned or fresh)  (ground)

  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce, no salt added

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasonings

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper chili flakes (if spicy desired)

  • Also- use Ground Turkey for Meat Balls

I would use 1/4 tsp of anise seeds- ( ground if you like )
    Tbs of Mrs Dash
Tbs of black pepper to taste
    Egg beaters- 1/4 cup
    1/4 cup of  bread crumbs
    1/2 of a onion diced
Mix all together -make small balls and place on a cookie sheet- place in a 350 oven until done
    Put into the cooked sauce
    This makes a great sauce
Also you can double this... so you can use for other great dishes

Hear and NowImage via WikipediaHi Everyone,

Thank you for following me on my writing.
We'll it's  been 2 months I Still, haven't heard anything from the publisher ( sigh). In their disclosure, it states, it could take up to 6 Months! to hear back from them... Okay, still wanted to hear anything by now,( you know what I mean). I'm not one whom likes to wait.
I do have a lot of patience with LIFE.

    SPEAKING OF LIFE,

It can be so WONDERFUL, Like some of you that have followed me know that recently I, loss my Dearly Beloved ( Sigh), I'm learning to walk, then I will LEARN to Fly- It is all been
( I just can't describe it). HARD AS HELL...

Now there I said it.  I know maybe this isn't a  real healthy way of dealing with this, but I pretend that it is all a Dream, a bad dream and, I am just putting one foot in front of the other. I mean it I watch my foot steps. I often talk to my beloved. I constantly ask how ya doing. I always tell him, miss ya like Hell, and you know you didn't have to leave US.

I was on a Social Network today, I  went to a friends site that I haven't seen in a long time.   I saw so many pictures of my Husbands friends that he grew up with. It touched my heart dearly.

So it got me thinking... ( Scary thought), I have My late brothers LOVE LETTERS from his girl friend and himself. Everyday they wrote a letter to each other, The stamps were only 5 cents, wow can you even amagine, Plus check this out. Remember the LOVE IS cartoon from The Los Angeles Times. Well, my bro's girl friend cut it out everyday and put it in the letter's.

He had them on his wall for the longest time. I really need to find them. The early 70's was the time, the music was simple, but had such meaning. If anyone out there, you know what that was all about.

So looking forward to hearing from you

    Prosperity
I expect my good and claim it now.
Expectancy is confidently knowing that something good is unfolding and anticipating its arrival. I have heard the promise: "It is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." God is my Source. There is no lack in the kingdom and nothing is beyond the goodness of God.
I claim prosperity in all aspects of my life. I see its evidence in a breathtaking sunset, an unexpected bonus and the gentle forgiveness that renews a lost friendship. The more I look, the more I see good unfolding. While others may speak of gloom and lack in the world, I expect the abundance of Spirit. With faith, I expect my good and claim it now.
Is not my house like this with God? …Will he not cause to prosper all my help and my desire?--2 Samuel 23:5

Two Golden RetrieversImage via WikipediaI am so thrilled once again to hear from my Editor. She has worked on my children’s story NOW, for the INFAMOUS “QUERY" LETTER”

Yikes, no, not really; as you read below she is an kindred spirit. So blessed she came into my life- Like I have stated the lord works in mysterious ways and this is differently one of them.

    Cindy
I will watch for it to come "over the wire" from 2nd Draft. :-)
I am so sorry to hear about your husband--I lost mine several years ago to cancer so I totally understand where you are coming from.

I too find inspiration by helping others in the same situation he was in. I have a little papillon who is a wonderful therapy dog. We make weekly visits to the local cancer treatment facility and just spend time with those going through chemo.

He is especially good interacting with children and we also participate in a program especially for kids with cancer.

I think you have an admirable dream to share with young readers.
I look forward to working with you again.

    Re-Cap

The comedy show Friends becomes popular.Image via Wikipedia
    Hi Again,

So glad to have my blog, and to follow other blogs. I have learned so much from blogging and sharing insights. All the wonderful words on a page. So many  places, they all can’t fit on my blog page. So..I have placed them on my Dashboard. What an inspiration and clever ideas, and books, and so on.

I have posted in the past about how one’s life changes, Ideas-People-Taste- and what we believe. Or should I say, what I have come to believe. For instance, Neighbors, what makes a Neighbor... funny word isn't it? I think so. Like when we come home from work and meet them in the driveway, or let’s say lord forbid... I NEED A CUP OF SUGAR- OR EGG- CUP OF MILK.etc. Remember back in the day we used to do such things.  They we're our mini mart, and we were theirs.  Now, we just jump in our cars and off we go. I do miss the times. ( being neighborly).

We didn't even think a thing about it, (now did we). Let’s think about this for a minute. Okay, life has changed, hmmm. Yes it has. We are all in such a hurry, go here go there. Man, this made me think about our today again. A pick up game in the street, Not to mention- Dodge ball- and drum roll please…… my favorite thing of all times, DING DONG DITCH. So much fun, Okay back to my sweet neighbor.

Neighbors of today a nod and a wave. ( am I right?). Well last week MY neighbor so to speak, caught me out in the street as I was leaving in my car,  flagged me down with a hand wave, I wanted to thank him any way for trimming my hedges, I’ve told him he could use our lawnmower any time he need. He stuck his arm and head in, and said, “I haven't seen you in a while”. He knows about my beloved husband and how busy we all have become. He  spoke with my husband often. I had no idea he had become so close to him. Our beloved was so worried about his family that he had confided in him and another close friend. I was so Glad that he could open up with them. Just to release some anxieties, so to speak. So that today I can hear as his voice continues, in someone else. Funny how things are. So beautiful.

As he was speaking I noticed his shirt, (IT had a LLS logo on it) Leukemia, Lymphoma Society on the sleeve. I pointed to his shirt and said Hello, I didn’t know?. And who do you know that has been touched my this. I must have had a weird look on my face. Because he touched my hand and said “Brad was my neighbor” with this a huge sigh. I almost started to cry. It touched my heart so very much. Wow, and this is our neighbor of today.

Well it didn’t stop there, he continued to talk to me about LIGHT THE NIGHT. This is LLS big fund raiser of the year, they have many. Which I’m told they are one of the biggest cancer research  fund raiser’s. However, he asked me if we went last month. I said “of course wouldn’t have missed it”. He stated he went and there are many other fund raisers he has joined in the fight with cancer since his neighbor

He had mentioned that he has done Regalia, for young women in the area, not to mention, Next year there is going to be regalia on our lake. I was so excited. I mention to him, how, when, and the time is this all going to take place. He proceeds with all the details, so, “I asked him if it would be alright to launch my children’s Book there and have a huge fund raiser for LLS. This cuts things close; I hope I can me such a deadline.

Now our friend and family are joining in the fight together- his and ours against Cancer- PLEASE lend your time and hand to a friend and neighbor. It has a ripple effect- I am so glad him and his family haved moved next door- Shhh ( I think we are going to become good and maybe possibly GREAT Friends). Isn't this just the way the times can still be- Oh and by the way Do you have a Cup of Sugar

A lot of Changes in my life recently, thank everyone for following and sending emails.

Finding balance and a new life...

Well... I had my second editing done. On my children's book, Nail biting and nerve racking waiting for the response. The wait is over, she (Terri), sent it via email."I' think my book is great. However, wonderful words of advice. Quoting Terri,

"You have wonderful concepts here, a first book to introduce young children to the benevolence of God. Smiling

A most unique idea that would make a wonderful picture book". Okay that's the good part, here is the edit. What?," you didn't think that I was going to keep this from you"?. ( just keeping it real ).

Always nice to get unbiased opinion, don't you think. As Terri edited, it was a little vague,  did i here this somewhere else? hum I think so- better hede the warning. I NEED TO GO BIG OR GO HOME...

CHILDREN WANT ADVENTURE, EXCITMENT, loud-words  So,  I have some writing to do.

This has been such an wonderful adventure. I kept thinking  the illustrations can  due a lot of the story, not to mention having a great concept ( Terri ), It needs WORDS, and more WORDS. Great, I can deliver.

The divine essenceImage by Guรฐskraftur via Flickr
Today as I opened my email, i( ALWAYS LOOK FOR ), THE DAILY wORD.
It is always such a welcoming delight. To brighten up ones day. Thank you and god bless. I often write my own words on my blog, But I always who ever time and space for the daily word here.
My blog is dedicated to god, myself and all that I can do to give back. trying to find my way right now.
sometimes we don't have to make a big impact, right now, today.
I have my blog to write and have a nice landing for whomever wants to read and relax , listen to the music- or just look at my blog. god bless and have a wonderful day
    Inner Peace
In the silence, my heart and mind are centered in God.
The silence is a period of meditation during which my thoughts are withdrawn from the external world and concentrated upon the inner truths of God. The indwelling presence of God is the very essence of the silence. As I meditate, I sense God's presence as stillness. My mind is quiet.
If I have been experiencing unsettledness in my life, I devote time today to silent prayer. In the silence, I invite compassion, wisdom and grace into my heart and mind. I step fully into the kingdom of God within me. Centered in the power of God, I gather strength and clarity.
By choosing to go within rather than react, I experience the peace of God. From this space of peace, I respond to life with love.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness.--Galatians 5:22

    First Steps

    First Steps

Ready to take on this day, I claim the abundant life I was created to live!

Children taking their first steps teach us an important lesson: With confidence, drive and a strong desire to walk, these little ones push past their comfort zone and move forward.
I know that as a child of God, I can tap into my own adventurous nature and determination to do whatever is before me this day. I might be taking my first steps in physical or emotional recovery. I might be beginning a new relationship or renewing a previous one. I can do anything I set my heart on.
As I search my soul, I know that God provides me with whatever is needed to step forward. I confidently take on any challenge or adventure that leads me to claim the abundant life I was created to live. So very grateful to ones family and friends... They have inspired me in so many ways. Being still and listening to Gods voice. Peace-Calm and stay in Harmony.

God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance.--2 Corinthians 9:8

    GUIDANCE

The wisdom of God lives within me.
As a child, I saw life from a perspective of innocence and naivetรฉ. With age, education and experience, I gained wisdom. Some of the things I know now I couldn't possibly have understood as a child. Some of my wisdom, however, has been gained not by experience, but by tapping into a greater source of wisdom within me, the wisdom of God.
Just as plants know how and when to push through the soil toward the sun, just as birds know to migrate hundreds of miles to their nesting grounds, I, too, have an inner wisdom. Closing my eyes to the distractions of the outer world, I find direction when I feel lost, inspiration when I am ready to hear, and a closeness to God as I open my heart. The wisdom of God lives within me.
For the Lord gives wisdom.--Proverbs 2:6

    Forgive

As I forgive, I recognize God's goodness expressing in and around me.

Life lessons bring me closer to knowing the peace of Christ within my heart. When I experience a hurtful exchange with another person, I allow forgiveness to release me from the pain. Forgiving does not condone unacceptable behavior; it gives me permission to break free from the hold people or situations may have on me.

With compassion, I forgive myself for doing something I regret or for neglecting to do something I wish I had done. Through self-forgiveness, my capacity to forgive others increases. Judgment is released.

As I forgive, I gratefully accept the peace of Christ within and see the goodness of God expressing.

Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.--Luke 6:37
